CIG’s capital markets group oversees an investment portfolio valued in excess of a billion dollars. We invest across the asset class spectrum with the primary objective of building an investment portfolio that consistently generates superior risk adjusted returns over long term time horizons.  Asset classes include direct and indirect investments in: fixed income, public & private equities, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and other alternative asset classes.

 

Public Equities

Consolidated Investment Group takes an opportunistic approach to public securities investing; applying value oriented bottoms up fundamental analysis to its security selection process.  Sector agnostic, we look to invest in industries at the appropriate point within the economic cycle.

 

Fund Investments

Consolidated Investment Group has relationships with over 35 of the world’s leading investment managers.  Manager strategies include long only equities, long/short equities, multi-strategy, global macro, event driven, distressed, private equity and venture capital.  When appropriate, we will invest in up and coming managers who have had a demonstrated track record of success at larger firms.

Direct Investments

Consolidated Investment Group uses disciplined, fundamentally based, bottoms up industry analysis coupled with a private equity approach to making direct investments in private companies.  We are growth equity providers to capital constrained businesses who have a solid management team with a compelling business model.  We focus on innovative high growth companies that have the potential to fundamentally transform their respective industry.

 

Venture Capital

Consolidated Investment Group directly invests in and incubates start-up technology companies in Israel through its wholly owned subsidiary IVIC.  IVIC is able to leverage its vast network within the Israeli business community to identify entrepreneurs with innovative ideas that have the potential to transform an industry.  We believe that partnering entrepreneurial innovation with hands-on disciplined business process and experienced management will enable these early stage companies to grow into viable world class businesses.
